Aggravating effect of hyperthermia on lipopolysaccharidemediated ALI/ARDS in rats
【Abstract】 AIM: To observe the effect of hyperthermia on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)mediated ALI/ARDS in rats. METHODS: Male specificpathogen free Wistar rats were randomly assigned to the following groups: salineinjected normothermic control (CGroup), salineinjected heat exposed (HGroup), LPSinjected normothermic control (LGroup) and LPSinjected heat exposed (HLGroup). Rectal temperature (Tr) was continually monitored.
