中美家庭教育的差異

Abstract

Family education, as the most important part of education, has aroused general concern of most people. American parents encourage children growing freely. They pay much attention to children’s development of non-intelligent part. They also encourage children express their feeling and thought so that it can nurture children’s imaginative and creative ability. Compared with that of America, Chinese home education is still coping with the “exam education” with schools. During the process of children’s growth, Chinese parents take the academic achievement seriously, even as the most important one. This thesis recounts the results, goals, contents, and the parenting styles of America and China. Further more it analyses the reasons why two countries’ home education differ so much, including historical backgrounds, economic forms, and cultural traditions. Through the general comparison of two countries’ family education, the thesis tries to give some suggestions for our country’s family education reform.

摘 要

家庭是人才培養的首要基地,所以家庭教育越來越受到人們的關注。美國人強調孩子的.自由發展。美國家庭教育重視孩子非智力因素的培養。鼓勵孩子自由且自然的表達自己的感情,培養孩子的想象力和創造力。中國家庭還只是跟學校配合以應付“應試教育”。在孩子的成長過程中,家長最注重孩子的學習情況。本文詳細敘述了中美家庭教育在結果,目的,內容,教育方式等方面的差異,並分析了產生這些差異的原因,包括歷史背景,經濟形態,文化傳統等方面。希望通過對兩國家庭教育所做的1般性的比較,提出幾點關於我國家庭教育改革的意見。
